OXFORD United boss Des Buckingham says Kyle Edwards’ new deal is a reward for his relentless positivity during a year of injury hell.
The former West Brom winger, 26, arrived on loan from Ipswich last summer and signed a short-term contract in January, despite being limited to just five appearances by a season-ending hamstring issue.
Released following Oxford’s promotion to the Championship, Edwards remained at the club to continue his rehabilitation and impressed so much on his return to fitness that he has now been handed a new contract...
