THE battle for the final play-off spot in League One is brilliantly poised as we head into the final day of the season.
Portsmouth are sixth on 72 points, so a win at home to Accrington Stanley will see them over the line. Any other result opens the door to Oxford and Charlton, who are both a point worse off. Both are at home, the U’s to Burton and the Addicks to champions Hull.
Oxford have sneaked up there, and recovered their form at the right time. They’ve won four of the last five and I expect them to get another three points today. That will probably rule Charlton out ...
