FLEETWOOD midfielder Ryan Rydel has signed a contract extension just months after putting pen to paper on his first professional deal.
The 18-year-old has so impressed head coach Joey Barton since making his league debut against Walsall that he has tied him up on improved terms until the summer of 2021 with an additional 12-month option.
Barton said: “His attitude is first class and he’s got a great desire to continue learning.”
