LAMBERT’S FUTURE UP IN THE AIR

SPECULATION is mounting over the future of Wolves boss Paul Lambert.
The 47-year-old Scot is believed to have concerns about agent Jorge Mendes’ influence in player recruitment at Molineux.
Mendes advises Wolves’ Chinese owners Fosun and several signings last summer were set up by him.
While winger Helder Costa thrived, a host of others failed to adapt to the English game.
Lambert, who took the reins in November after Italian Walter Zenga was sacked, has said he would prefer to shop more in the home market, but Fosun may decide to axe Lambert and stick with Mendes.
