Sam Hoskins has revealed that Northampton Town are determined not to leave anything to chance in their pursuit of promotion after missing out in “freak” circumstances last term.
The Cobblers were agonisingly pipped to third place on goals scored when Bristol Rovers’ 7-0 final-day tonking of Scunthorpe meant Hoskins’ brace in a 3-1 triumph at Barrow proved insufficient.
