Head coach Richie Wellens insists it was an ‘easy decision’ to extend his contract with Leyton Orient – and now wants to focus his attentions on their promotion push.
The 42-year-old arrived on a two-and-a-half-year deal in March and steered the O’s away from League Two relegation danger last term.
This season, the O’s have continued that momentum. They headed into the weekend five points clear at the top of the table.
