PROMISING defender Kayden Hughes has penned a new contract which will see him stay at Fleetwood Town until the summer of 2027, with the club holding an option for a further year.
The 18-year-old has earned an extended deal with the Cod Army after making ten first team appearances since his debut in August.
He scored a his first professional goals in Fleetwood’s remarkable 6-2 win at high-flying Walsall at the beginning of last month, netting a second half brace.
Hughes has progressed through the academy since joining at U12 level.
