PARKY SUPPORT FOR EURO VISION

WREXHAM boss Phil Parkinson has backed plans that could give the club the chance to play European football through success in a Welsh cup competition.
Currently, Wrexham, Cardiff, Swansea and Newport are only able to qualify for European competitions via the Premier League, FA Cup or Carabao Cup.
But talks have taken place at the four EFL clubs and the Football Association of Wales about the idea of entering the Welsh League Cup – currently the Nathaniel MG Cup – for a chance to represent Wales in the Europa Conference League.
