Red-hot Rovers race into play-offs

If you had said a few months ago that Doncaster Rovers would reach the play-offs, people would have thought you were crazy.
And yet their remarkable club record-equalling run of ten straight victories has helped them surge up the League Two table into fifth place and gatecrash the post-regular season competition. Yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Gillingham booked their berth and completed a remarkable transformation.
At the turn of the year, Doncaster were in a relegation scrap, hovering above the relegation places in 22nd back in January.
