PROUD MK Dons manager Mike Williamson saluted the ‘courage and bravery’ of his players after they pulled off a superb 2-1 victory at table-topping Mansfield.
MK put the disappointment of losing to AFC Wimbledon last weekend behind them in the best way possible – and they had to do it the hard way. Mansfield drew first blood on 15 minutes after a penalty was awarded for handball. Michael Kelly saved well from Lucas Akins’ spot-kick and his follow-up but Stephen Quinn was on hand to bury the loose ball.
