Defender Max Ehmer has given Gillingham a boost by putting pen to paper on a new contact at Priestfield.
The 31-year-old recently made his 350th appearance for the Gills and will be one of the key players for manager Neil Harris going forwards.
The former QPR man first joined the Gills on loan in November 2014 and, having extended that deal until the end of the season, he signed a three-year deal in the summer of 2015.
The Germany-born centre-back remained with the Kent club until the middle of 2020 before joining Bristol Rovers.
