SHEFFIELD Wednesday had one hand on the FA Cup until Mike Trebilcock became the first black player to score in a cup final to start turning the game on its head.
The Owls appeared to be cruising towards their first FA Cup final win for 31 years after David Ford added to Jim McCalliog’s fourth-minute opener.
But two Trebilcock goals within seven minutes of Ford making it 2-0 took the wind out of Wednesday’s sails before Derek Temple completed the comeback with the third 16 minutes from the end.
