LIDDLE TO KEEP HIS FOCUS UP

HARTLEPOOL defender Gary Liddle believes there is still a lot to play for this season, despite being mid-table.
Pools were promoted to the EFL last season and have comfortably avoided relegation in their first campaign back. But the 35-year-old says the squad is focused on finishing as high as they can.
Liddle said: “We want to get as many points as we can in them (the remaining games) and build for next season.
“There is still a lot to play for and that’s the main aim. Hopefully we can get a win or two in these last remaining games.”
