PORT Vale boss Darrell Clarke insists there is no striker crisis at Vale Park despite losing inform front man James Wilson to a broken foot.
The 25-year-old is Vale’s joint top goalscorer this season with seven, level with Jamie Proctor, who is also currently out of action after undergoing a hernia operation.
As a result, Vale, who entered the weekend second in League Two, are having to make do without two of their key men up top but Clarke is making no excuses for his side despite the absentees.
