League Two side Yeovil have made the decision to resign Francois Zoko on a contract until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old’s initial deal with the Glovers expired yesterday but the club have decided to keep Zoko on the books until the end of the season.
The Ivorian joined Yeovil on a short-term deal in November and has since scored four goals.
Zoko came through the academy at French side Nancy but has played in England since 2010 where he has represented Carlisle, Stevnage, Blackpool. Bradford and most recently Yeovil.
Yeovil manager Darren Way told the club’s official website, “Francois is a fantastic signing for this football club, he has brought a wealth of talent to Huish Park. He is a gifted individual and is a good lad to have around the dressing room.
“We have been very pleased with his contribution since he has been here at Huish Park. Hopefully now he has committed to the football club we can have a long term future with him.”
Yeovil are currently battling against relegation from League Two. They are sitting in 23rd place in the table, two points adrift of safety.
