SCOT Bennett’s early goal not only sunk the champions at Rodney Parade, but it also kept Newport’s play-off hopes firmly alive, leaving boss Mike Flynn to issue a rallying cry ahead of their final two matches of the season.
Bennett fired home Padraig Amond’s incisive pass after just seven minutes to seal a precious win, and now Flynn wants a big effort on Tuesday night against Oldham, where victory will put them in the final play-off spot with just a game to go.
