MICHAEL Flynn heaped praise on his players after Newport put last week’s thrashing at home to Yeovil behind them with a hard-fought win at Tranmere.
Fraser Franks gave the Exiles the lead from their first attack after only five minutes and, from then on, the visitors showed dogged determination to hang on for their third consecutive away victory and banish memories of last week’s 6-0 loss.
