WYCOMBE boss Gareth Ainsworth admitted his team looked jaded by their exertions from last week as they were held to a frustrating draw by Port Vale.
The Chairboys had got their promotion push back on track with two victories on the road leading up to this game, but they were unable to find a way past the stubborn Valiants.
They now haven’t won their last four home games, but that’s nothing compared to Vale’s run of 14 matches without a victory anywhere – they still haven’t won in 2018 – although this will feel like a point gained.
