Conor Chaplin has signed a new three year contract with Pompey. The eighteen year old striker has played 18 games for the club and scored four goals, including a winner against Derby in the Capital One Cup in August.
Chaplin is now contracted to stay with Portsmouth until the summer of 2018 and expressed his delight at the new deal, telling the club’s official website “I’ve never made any secret of the fact that I want to play my football with Pompey and it means everything to know I will be here for another three years.”
Portsmouth are currently sitting in 2nd place in League 2, one point behind Leyton Orient.
