Former Watford midfielder Ross Jenkins has joined League Two side Crawley Town on a short-term contract.
Jenkins had been without a club since he was released by the Hornets in June 2014 and has initially agreed to stay at the Broadfield Stadium until January.
The 24 year-old midfielder brings a wealth of football league experience to the Reds after making 95 appearances for Watford after graduating from the club’s academy.
Manager Mark Yates told Crawley‘s official club website “I think Ross is an excellent player who can operate anywhere in midfield. He gives us another option in that area of the team.
“Obviously he wants to be playing in the League again and we are pleased to have him with us.”
Jenkins will wear the number 22 shirt and should be available for Saturday’s game against Yeovil Town.
