UNHERALDED Wycombe Wanderers have stolen the show by taking top spot in League One – and are now aiming to prove their doubters wrong by staying there.
Matt Bloomfield’s Chairboys, who had a day off yesterday, have won their last six third tier contests and hold a two-point advantage over big-spending Birmingham, albeit the Blues have a game in hand.
Hollywood-backed Wrexham remain third after their 1-0 reverse at Stockport yesterday, which saw the Hatters climb to fourth.
