CAMBRIDGE boss Garry Monk has been hit with a one-game touchline ban and a £1,000 fine after accepting an FA misconduct rap.
The 45-year-old admitted a charge of improper and/or confrontational behaviour and using insulting or abusive language towards a match official during the U’s 1-0 home defeat by Rotherham earlier this month.
Cambridge are bottom of League One after losing eight of their first nine games.
