EX-PREMIER League striker Dwight Gayle has been tipped to keep the Rams in the automatic promotion race after scoring his first goal for the club.
Derby head coach Paul Warne described Gayle’s first goal for a year as a “massive difference” as his team beat Port Vale at Pride Park.
Gayle opened his Derby account just as Vale were starting to cause the home side problems.
