FORMER Lincoln boss Mark Kennedy is the early favourite to replace Andy Crosby as manager of Port Vale.
Capped 34 times by the Republic of Ireland, Kennedy began his career at Liverpool and won promotion to the Premier League with Manchester City and Wolves.
After a brief managerial stint at Macclesfield, the 47-year-old took charge at Lincoln in the summer of 2022 and won 25 of his 73 games at the helm. However, he was sacked in October with the club saying there were “many different facets” behind his dismissal.
