Dino Maamria has admitted that battling for survival at Burton Albion took a toll on his personal life.
The Brewers are one of the smallest clubs in League One, with a budget dwarfed by the likes of Portsmouth, Bolton and Derby.
Maamria performed miracles to beat the drop last term, seizing control from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink when Burton lay nine points adrift at the foot of the table and comfortably securing safety with three games to spare.
