Wycombe Wanderers boss Matt Bloomfield has backed experienced striker Lyle Taylor to shine at Adams Park.
The Chairboys suffered a major blow when striker Brandon Hanlan damaged his anterior cruciate ligament in last week’s home reverse against Stevenage.
With former Wales international Sam Vokes also sidelined, Bloomfield felt he needed to dip into the free agent market and bring in a striker.
Having already been on the trail of Taylor, the 33-year-old former AFC Wimbledon, Charlton and Nottingham Forest man was the obvious target.
