Young follows example of ‘Pele’

Once bitten, twice shy goes the saying, but it’s perhaps one that Bradford City had forgotten about.
It was back in 2019/20 that Eoin Doyle – the Ginger Pele – went on loan from the Bantams to Swindon and scored a shed-load of goals.
This summer the Robins borrowed Jake Young from Bradford and the young striker has been on fire. Heading into the weekend, the 22-year-old had notched nine goals in seven league games to top the League Two scoring charts.
Not surprisingly, he also scooped the fourth tier’s Player of the Month award.
