Michael Appleton has called on everyone at Charlton Athletic to unite together as he looks to get the Addicks on the up again — and he’s promised an exciting team in return.
The 47-year-old has signed a two-year deal at the League One club as replacement for Dean Holden, who was axed last month after four league defeats on the spin.
Charlton have won just twice all season and are looking to the former Portsmouth, Blackpool and Lincoln boss to turn their ailing fortunes around.
