AASGAARD BLOW HITS THE LATICS

LEAM Richardson tried to put a positive spin on the “hammer blow” of losing exciting young midfielder Thelo Aasgaard to a knee injury.
The 19-year-old suffered the problem in an under-23 game against Charlton, and manager Richardson said: “It’s a grade two to his ACL, or MCL, which will rule him out for another four weeks we think.
“Obviously that’s a hammer blow for us and for him, because he was coming on nicely.
“But maybe it will turn out to be a good thing.”
