WILL Mannion says his aim for this season is “to challenge for No.1” after signing a one-year deal with Cambridge.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins the U’s from Cypriot First Division side Pafos, where he spent last season, having previously been at Hull.
“I will be challenging for No.1 – that is my aim this season,” he said.
“I have been with Dimi (Dimitar Mitov) and Kai (McKenzie-Lyle) who are both good keepers. It will be good competition.”
