WITH such a small squad at manager Darrell Clarke’s disposal, Walsall defender Gary Liddle insists he is happy to play anywhere to contribute to the Saddlers’ League Two push.
The 33-year-old has featured in a variety of positions along the Walsall backline so far this campaign, and his versatility has helped his team overcome an early-season sticky patch.
Having claimed victory at Northampton in their first game, Walsall went on a seven-match winless run but have since started to turn their season around.
