STEVENAGE boss Dino Maamria described veteran striker Alex Revell as an “inspiration” after his two late goals gave Boro their first win of the season.
After Crawley striker Ollie Palmer had cancelled out a 48th-minute opener from substitute Alex Reid, Revell settled the issue in dramatic fashion.
The 35-year-old, who has played for 14 clubs, rose to give Boro the lead two minutes from time before racing through on a pass by James Ferry to seal victory.
