DERBY are set to raid Liverpool once again with a loan move for Reds winger Jordon Ibe.
Ibe, 18, made his debut for Wycombe at the age of just 15 and was watched by a host of top flight clubs before joining Liverpool for £500,000 in 2011.
However, having featured just once for the Reds this season, manager Brendan Rodgers is eager for Ibe to gain some experience.
“Jordan has shown every day in training that he’s at a really good level,” said Rodgers this week. “But there will come a point where, if he’s not playing here regularly, he’ll need to get some game time because I think he can be a great player for us.”
Rams boss Steve McClaren has watched the youngster several times this season and made an initial approach in November.
If the move does go through, he would be the second Liverpool youngster plying his trade at Pride Park, with England Under-21 right-back Andre Wisdom an ever-present since joining in October.
