Leader Mattie Pollock earns praise of Watford boss Tom Cleverley

CHAMPIONSHIP
WATFORD head coach Tom Cleverley hailed Mattie Pollock as a future Hornets captain after the 23-year-old signed a new long-term deal at Vicarage Road.
Defender Pollock joined Watford from Grimsby in 2021 and spent time on loan at Cheltenham and Aberdeen before breaking into the side last season.
He has now made 40 appearances across all competitions and has started every game for the Hornets this term.
