POTTERS ANGERED BY CHANTS

STOKE City have blasted ‘sickening and unacceptable’ tragedy chanting by a small minority of their supporters at last Saturday’s match at Sheffield United.
The chants were directed at former Potters striker Tyrese Campbell, whose father, former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin, passed away in June aged 54. Campbell, 24, scored in United’s 2-0 victory.
“The club has a zero-tolerance approach to tragedy chanting and strongly condemns the abhorrent actions of the individuals involved,” said Stoke.
