SWITCH: Mark McGuinness has left Cardiff
MARK McGuinness believes joining Luton Town from Championship rivals Cardiff for a club-record fee of £10m is the ‘perfect’ move.
The 23-year-old centre-back scored six goals in 86 appearances for the Bluebirds and was Hatters manager Rob Edwards’ No.1 target this summer.
“For me, Luton Town was the perfect next step,” said McGuinness, who spent a decade at Arsenal before joining Cardiff in the summer of 2021.
