A CLEARLY delighted Michael Carrick praised striker Emmanuel Latte Lath after the Ivorian’s penalty gave Boro an opening-day victory.
Latte Lath scored nine in his last eight Championship outings last season to finish an impressive first campaign on Teesside with 17 goals.
