Queens Park Rangers host West Bromwich Albion at Loftus Road on late Wednesday on the back of three consecutive wins in the Championship.
QPR have picked up 13 points from their last six games, and they face a Baggies side who also won their last match, and have collected 11 points from the last possible 18.
In Alex Palmer, West Bromwich can rely on one of the league’s safest pair of hands. He has kept 15 clean sheets in his 35 appearances this season, and no ‘keeper has prevented the opposition scoring more often in the Championship.
In QPR’s net, Asmir Begović has nine clean sheets in 35 games. He has conceded a goal every 72 minutes, 50% more often than the 105 minutes between goals for Alex Palmer.
In the last 10 years, QPR and West Bromwich have played each other on 11 occasions. QPR won three of them, West Bromwich six, and they drew twice.
On average, QPR scored 1.5 goals and the Baggies 2.2 in those matches.
Their last meeting was on October 24, when West Bromwich won 2-0 at home.

The home side are 14 places behind the visitors in 19th, with 10 wins and eight draws putting them on 38 points.
QPR’s last match was on Saturday, a 2-1 win against Leicester City, with Ilias Chair and Sinclair Armstrong getting the goals for QPR.
West Bromwich beat Coventry City 2-1 last time out, on Friday, with Grady Diangana and Michael Andrew Johnston on the scoresheet.
Wednesday’s match will be refereed by Geoff Eltringham, who has taken charge of 14 Championship games so far this season, issuing one red card and booking 61 players. He has not awarded any penalties.
The last QPR game Eltringham refereed was a 2-1 away win against Blackburn Rovers on February 3. He is yet to oversee a match featuring West Bromwich this season.
