Lead cut as Hoops win at King Power
Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca has urged his players to hold their nerve after relegation-threatened QPR sent them sliding to their third straight defeat.
Ilias Chair and sub Sinclair Armstrong netted for the Hoops in a 2-1 success. The Foxes’ lead at the summit is down to three points after Ipswich’s 2-0 win at Plymouth, while Leeds, who drew 1-1 at ten-man Huddersfield, are just two points further back.
“It’s been a long time since we have been at the top and everyone is chasing us,” said Maresca. “We can’t think about that, we just need to win games.
“If you get too nervous it could be dangerous, if you relax, it could be dangerous. You have to be mentally strong because we have a game in three days.”
