Fuming Watford have insisted Chris Wilder will remain as head coach until the end of the season and blasted speculation over his position as “totally disrespectful”.
Reports had suggested the 55-year-old’s job was under threat after one win in his first six games in charge since replacing Slaven Bilic last month. It’s left the Hornets mid-table in the Championship.
Pre-weekend, the former Sheffield United manager’s only victory had been a 3-0 victory over Birmingham in his second match at the helm.
