BLACKBURN Rovers welcome struggling Wigan to Ewood Park tomorrow with manager Jon Dahl Tomasson still seething at the club’s deadline-day blunders.
Deals were agreed to loan Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis O’Brien and sign Rochdale teenager Ethan Brierley, only the late submission of paperwork to scupper both moves at the eleventh hour.
Rovers director of football Gregg Broughton also failed to deliver the striker that Tomasson craved. Brighton’s Deniz Undav was a long-standing target but a move for the German collapsed.
