Mick Beale made himself look very silly when he got all emotional in the aftermath of rejecting Wolves.
“Integrity and loyalty are big things for me and if they are the values you live by you have to be strong,” said the 42-year-old, whose defection from QPR to Rangers this week caused uproar amongst Hoops supporters.
It was silly because it wasn’t true. As I wrote in this column last week, Beale’s reasons for staying at Loftus Road had nothing to do with loyalty to QPR and everything to do with his reservations over the job on offer at Molineux.
