PAUL Hecking bottom says Sheffield United’s owners proved their ambition by knocking back deadline-day advances for star midfielder Sander Berge.
The 24-year-old Norway international was the subject of two bids from Belgian side Club Brugge earlier in the window, and the Blades held “intense” discussions with “big” Premier League teams as the hours ticked down on Thursday evening.
