Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has turned to Nottingham Forest youngster Baba Fernandes to help ease an injury crisis at the Wham Stadium.
Already without defender Michael Nottingham, midfielder David Morgan and new signing Alhagi Touray Sisay, Coleman suffered a further blow in midweek when Jay Rich-Baghuelou was ruled out this week for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
The Australian defender was forced off after just 21 minutes of last weekend’s victory over Shrewsbury and tests have since confirmed he faces a long-term lay-off.
