RUSSELL Martin has explained his decision to allow Morgan Whittaker and Liam Cullen to leave Swansea on loan was driven by a reluctance to be “selfish” over the players’ careers.
Forwards Whittaker, 21, and Cullen, 22, have both departed for Lincoln this month on deals to the end of the season.
