NIGEL Pearson says he takes “no satisfaction” from facing a Sheffield United side in disarray following the shock dismissal of Slavisa Jokanovic.
The Serb was replaced by the Blades’ Under-23 boss Paul Heckingbottom, a friend of Pearson, and the Bristol City boss has warned his side to expect a reaction at Bramall Lane.
“They beat Reading away in midweek and the manager still lost his job,” said Pearson. “I think that really is an illustration of how volatile managerial positions can be.
