JONATHAN Woodgate singled out winger David Brooks for a superb all-round display in Bournemouth’s impressive display at Millwall in midweek.
The Wales star, 23, was on the scoresheet before the break in the 4-1 win that all but secured a play-off spot for the Cherries.
But it was not Brooks’ scoring prowess which caught boss Woodgate’s attention.
“Brooksy had his best performance since I’ve been here,” said head coach Woodgate.
“I thought he was unbelievable, but it was his out of possession work that caught my eye.”
