GOALKEEPER Jake Eastwood has been recalled from his loan at Scunthorpe United by Sheffield United.
The 23-year-old had broken into the first team, making ten League Two starts among his 16 appearances in all competitions and keeping seven clean sheets, too.
The announcement comes after fellow Blades stopper Michael Verrips suffered a concussion in their FA Cup victory over AFC Fylde.
It was also revealed by the Iron that 23-year-old forward Kyle Wootton has completed a permanent move to National League side Notts County for an undisclosed fee.
