I’VE never thought there was anything wrong with football players going out and having a few drinks.
In my day, it was part of everyday life. Even now, it’s still a very good way of bonding the lads together.
Unfortunately, it is frowned upon so much so that if something happens, you are guaranteed to face a backlash - as Derby County found out last week.
