KIERAN Wallace’s ability to play a number of positions helped him secure fresh terms at Burton, according to boss Nigel Clough.
The 24-year-old midfielder signed a contract until the end of the season in January and has made 14 outings.
And Wallace has impressed Clough enough to win a new contract until the summer of 2020.
Clough said: “We’re delighted he is going to be around for next season. He has impressed us; his versatility is a positive.
“It’s going to be a big summer for him. We want him to work extremely hard and force his way into the team....
